The Mountain Music Festival is a three‑day hard rock / heavy metal music festival held in the Smoky Mountains region of Tennessee. It began in 2021 under the name Monsters on the Mountain, but in 2024, festival organizers rebranded the event as The Mountain Music Festival.
In addition to the music, the festival also offers vendor markets (rock & roll merchandise), art galleries, photo ops with bands, an outdoor patio, and tailgate‑type experiences.
Past headliners include Vince Neil, Night Ranger, Kix, Tesla, Winger, Great White, Tom Keifer, Extreme, Queensrÿche, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, 38 Special, and Slaughter.
