It’s official, Pretty Lights is back!
Derek Vincent Smith broke his nearly 5-year silence on Tuesday by announcing a nine-city and two-festival tour for 2023.
“Pretty Lights returns for the Soundship Spacesystem Tour which will include 27 total dates in 9 cities plus 2 festival appearances in the Summer and Fall of 2023,” Pretty Lights tweeted.
“I’ve been looking forward to this day for a long time and am immensely grateful to be healthy and happy and surrounded by amazing people. I feel recharged and more ready than ever to launch a new vision of PL music and live events.”
The two festivals include the debut edition of Cascade Equinox Festival in Redmond, Oregon, and the highly-anticipated 10th anniversary of Hulaween in Live Oak, Florida.
Pretty Lights is the only artist announced to date for the Cascade Equinox Festival, scheduled for September 22-24.
For Hulaween, Pretty Lights will join fellow headliners Big Wild, Channel Tres, DISPATCH, Elderbrook, Goose, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, John Summit, Les Claypool’s Fearless Flying Frog Brigade, Mt. Joy, Smino, The String Cheese Incident, and Trey Anastasio Band. Hulaween will take place October 26-29.
In addition to the two festivals, Pretty Lights announced a nine-city tour that will include Denver, Dillon (Colorado), Atlanta, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Chicago, Pelham (Tennessee), San Francisco, and New Orleans.

Pretty Lights also released a video to accompany the Soundship Spacesystem Tour announcement.
Presale tickets will go on sale Wednesday, April 5, and general tickets will be available Friday, April 7. Both will be released at 10 AM local time.
Tickets for The Caverns tour stop in Pelham, Tennessee, will be held for release at a later date.
