Halloween-themed festival Freaky Deaky has known many homes in its 15 years. Starting in Chicago as a one-night event, it has evolved into a two-day, multi-stage festival. Current iterations are held in Texas and Oregon.
Freaky Deaky Texas began in 2018 and is hosted at the Travis County Exposition Center in Austin, Texas, just 15 minutes from downtown. The Travis County Exposition Center is a multipurpose facility on one of Austin’s highest points.
The Halloween festival hosts multiple stages that showcase every subgenre of EDM. From dubstep and house to experimental bass and hip-hop, there will surely be something for every dance music fan. Creative costumes are encouraged among the creepy carnival rides and games. If there was ever a place to celebrate Halloween, Freaky Deaky is it.
