California Roots has revealed its final act for the 2024 festival. Ziggy Marley will headline on Friday, May 24.

Cali Roots has revealed phase 2 of its 2024 lineup. 15 artists join the roster, including headliners Rebelution, Ice Cube, E-40 & Too $hort, and Stephen Marley. Other artists featured are Fortunate Youth, Living Legends, Rawayana, Tropidelic, and more. Friday's headliners will be announced soon.
California Roots, a reggae and conscious hip-hop music festival, has announced the phase 1 lineup for its 13th edition. The annual three-day event is scheduled for May 24-26, 2024, at the Monterey County Fairgrounds in Monterey, California.
Initial 2024 headliners are Damian Marley and Burning Spear. Support includes Lupe Fiasco, Pepper, J Boog, Tribal Seeds, Collie Buddz, The Expendables, Xavier Rudd, The Elovaters, The Green, L.A.B., Souls Of Mischief, Kabaka Pyramid, and Little Stranger.
California Roots Music & Arts Festival debuted in 2010 as a one-day event featuring various reggae and conscious hip-hop artists. Other genres featured at the festival include reggae rock, island reggae, roots reggae, and folk. Headliners for the inaugural 2010 event were Dirty Heads and Tribal Seeds.
The festival focuses on more than just music. Organizers also care about the environment.
