North Chicago suburb Winnetka is bringing its two-day music festival, Winnetka Music Festival, back for another edition this year.
The festival, which will take place June 14-15, will feature more than 25 indie, pop, and rock musicians and bands on Friday night and all day Saturday. Festival hours are 5-11 PM on Friday and 12-11 PM on Saturday.
Headliners include American indie rock group Band of Horses and German alternative rock and electronic band Milky Chance.
The initial lineup includes Caroline Jones, Half Moon Run, Heartless Bastards, Michigander, Rayland Baxter, Rebirth Brass Band, The Verve Pipe, and Yola. More artists will be announced at a later date.
Tickets go on sale Friday, March 8, at 10 AM CT. They’ll be available as two-day passes, with general admission and VIP options. To purchase, visit eventbrite.com.
Winnetka Music Festival debuted in 2017 and has become a summertime fixture in the suburb, which is an approximate 30-minute drive north of downtown Chicago. Winnetka can also be reached via the UP-N Metra train line.
