Due to the tragic and sudden passing of drummer Taylor Hawkins, the Foo Fighters will no longer be headlining Aftershock Festival. The band has canceled all of their future appearances indefinitely.
Aftershock Festival is turning 10! The rock fest will be hosted at Sacramento’s Discovery Park on October 6-9, 2022.
Festival organizers are going all out on talent for their 10th anniversary. The headliners for California’s biggest rock festival are Slipknot, KISS, My Chemical Romance, and the Foo Fighters. They are supported by some strong acts as well including Rob Zombie, Evanescence, Judas Priest, Lamb of God, Papa Roach, A Day To Remember, Shinedown, and Bring Me The Horizon.
There is quite an array of genres represented at Aftershock. From Grunge, Hard Rock, and Heavy Metal to NU Metal, Thrash Metal, and Metalcore. Circle pits are never-ending and raging is all the rage. What more could you ask for at a rock fest?

Health and safety: While the festival has yet to set any guidelines, its website states, “Preventative health measures (i.e. proof of negative COVID-19 test or COVID-19 vaccination, etc.) may be required for the festival.” More details can be found here.
