A new electronic-focused music festival is coming to San Francisco. Portola Music Festival unveiled its inaugural lineup on Monday, with genres ranging from house to nu-disco to funk.
Portola will span two days, September 24-25, and will feature over 60 artists for the first edition. Australian electronic DJ and producer Flume and English electronic duo The Chemical Brothers will headline Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
Other artists include Charli XCX, Hot Since 82, James Blake, Jamie xx, Jungle, Kaytranada, Lane 8, M.I.A, Peggy Gou, and Toro y Moi.
The festival will be held at Pier 80, San Francisco’s largest cargo terminal. The 60-acre site is located on the Bay.
Pre-sale tickets go on sale Friday, May 20th at 10 AM PT. Single-day passes start at $199.95 plus fees. Two-day passes start at $299.95 plus fees and VIP passes are $399.95 plus fees. There are also hotel packages available.
