Afro Nation is an Afrobeats music festival that debuted in 2019 in Portimão, Portugal. That same year, festival organizers brought the dance party to Ghana, Africa, and it took hold. The festival incorporates many genres into its lineups, including Hip Hop, R&B, Dancehall, Amapiano, Afro House, Afroswing, and Afro-Trap. In 2022, Afro Nation introduced a Puerto Rico edition, with Miami following in its footsteps in 2023. Past artists include Burna Boy, Wizkid, Meek Mill, P-Square, Stonebwoy, Davido, 6LACK, and Megan Thee Stallion.
