Annapolis Baygrass Music Festival is a two-day bluegrass music festival that takes place on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay at Sandy Point State Park in Annapolis, Maryland. The event was initially scheduled to debut in 2022. However, Hurricane Ian hit the area, and festival organizers pushed the inaugural edition to 2023. The festival’s mission is to “protect and restore the Chesapeake Bay through education, awareness and donations generated by a wonderful weekend of music and community.” The lineup features genres like Progressive Bluegrass, Jamgrass, Americana, Rock, Funk, and Blues. The inaugural edition featured Yonder Mountain String Band, Melvin Seals & JGB, Railroad Earth, and Fruition as the top-billed acts.
