Electronic music festival Electric Forest took over the Double JJ Ranch in Rothbury, Michigan in 2011. Before that, it had been home to Rothbury Fest, with lineups that were a mix of jam, rock, and indie. Electric Forest put more of an emphasis on electronic acts but continued to maintain an eclectic and varied lineup, with jam bands like The String Cheese Incident headlining every year.
Electric Forest is a 4-day experience, with camping, a water park, and the magical forest itself that comes alive at night with captivating light and art installations. Attendees have a wide variety of camping and VIP options, and the festival also hosts workshops, seminars, and other fun activities besides the stacked lineup of artists to see.
