Fields of Funk debuted in 2021, bringing funk lovers of Santa Barabara, California something to groove to on Halloween weekend. The one-day funk music festival is held at Elings Park and offers views of the Santa Ynez Mountains to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west.
At first glance, Fields of Funk does not appear to be a Halloween festival. But it is. Festivalgoers are encouraged to arrive in costume and prepare themselves for a day of dancing. In addition to the music, the festival also provides food trucks, clothing vendors, art installations, a full bar, a silent disco, and a roller skating rink. Past performers include Chromeo, Poolside, and DÄM-FunK.
