Halloween’s premier dance music event, Freaky Deaky, has known many homes in its 15 years. Starting in Chicago as a one-night event, it has evolved into a two-day, multi-stage festival. Current iterations are held in Oregon and Texas.
Freaky Deaky Portland began in 2021 and is hosted at the Portland Expo Center in Downtown Portland. Disco Donnie Presents, the production company behind the festival, brings to life multiple stages that showcase every subgenre of EDM. From dubstep and house to experimental bass and hip-hop, there will surely be something for every dance music fan. Creative costumes are encouraged. If there was ever a place to celebrate Halloween, Freaky Deaky is it.
