Frozen Dead Guy Days was created more than 20 years ago to honor the crazy-but-true story of Bredo Morstøl (aka Grandpa Bedo), a Norwegian man who was cryogenically frozen and shipped to the U.S. by his family. His body was found in a shed in Nederland years later. In 2022, the event drew 20,000 people to the small town to watch live music, participate in polar plunges and coffin races, and drink craft brews and cocktails.
