Debuting in 2022, Heatwave Music Festival is one of the newer festivals on Chicago’s summer music scene. Heatwave has a focus on electronic genres, showcasing an impressive lineup of global DJs and producers in its young existence.
In its second year, Heatwave moved from Douglas Park on Chicago’s southwest side to picturesque Northerly Island that sits between downtown and Lake Michigan. In addition to the daytime festivities, Heatwave also collaborates with local venues to offer a plethora of afterparty experiences.
