Created and orchestrated by long-running emo band Hawthorne Heights, Is For Lovers Festival is a touring, multi-city music festival with a mission to provide an easy-going, inclusionary experience that is just as much about the fans as the bands.
Is For Lovers Festival debuted in 2022 in three cities, and in 2023 the festival expanded to eight cities across the United States. The festival primarily incorporates bands across emo, indie rock, pop rock, and punk genres.
At the core of the experience is the approach Hawthorne Heights takes to build the lineup. “In year one, we got to go to a few of our favorite cities, with bands that are our friends, and some bands that we simply love … we have chosen to work with people who we love and respect … we just want everyone to have fun, and have an easy day together.”
