Founded in 1991 by rock legend Perry Farrell of Jane’s Addiction fame, Lollapalooza started as a touring festival before finding its permanent home in Chicago’s Grant Park in 2005. Three decades since its inception, Lolla has grown into one of the planet’s largest festivals, welcoming more than 400,000 festival-goers each year through its gates.
Set against the backdrop of Chicago’s iconic skyline, Lolla is a mesmerizing live music experience that welcomes artists of all genres to its numerous stages across a span of four days and nights during the summertime. Adding to Lollapalooza’s experience, many of Chicago’s concert venues and nightclubs play home to can’t-miss after shows each night, turning the entire city into a live music event.
