Having debuted in 2019, THING has already made a statement on the music festival scene. According to the Seattle Times, the multi-genre, multi-experiential festival “is already WA’s best destination festival.”
THING’s setting is historic Fort Worden, a 434-acre military base nestled on the Puget Sound with extensive nature and hiking escapes. Within the setting, THING’s creators deliver an immersive experience with a thoughtfully curated lineup of musicians and artists pushing the boundaries of their genres. Self-described as “music & art & other things,” the festival also features visual artists, comedians, activists, indigenous storytellers, and much much more.
