Lightning in a Bottle has yet to announce its 2024 lineup, but a leaked poster has been making the rounds. According to a report from Festive Owl on Friday, the headliners appear to be legitimate.
CloZee, Labrinth, Lane 8, Skream (Dubstep Set), and Skrillex “are expected to headline” per Festive Owl’s sources.
As of now, those are the only names Festive Owl has been able to verify.
This year’s Lightning in a Bottle is scheduled for May 22-27 at Buena Vista Aquatic Recreational Area in Bakersfield, California. Early bird passes are already sold out, but fans can subscribe to be alerted of future releases at libfestival.org.
The full lineup is expected to drop any day now.
Originally created in 2000 as a friends-only, private gathering, Lightning in a Bottle was introduced in 2004 as the music festival the world has come to know. It has been held at various locations in the Southern California region. However, in 2022, it returned to Buena Vista Lake, where it’s remained since.
LiB is a multi-day transformational experience, featuring a wide range of musical genres, with a primary focus on electronic dance music genres, including techno, house, bass music, trance, and downtempo, while also incorporating elements of alternative, indie, and folk.
The festival emphasizes interactive art installations, creating a vibrant and visually stunning environment, while staying committed to environmental sustainability and an eco-friendly ethos.
Lightning in a Bottle fosters a sense of community, with attendees often referring to it as a gathering of like-minded individuals. The festival promotes inclusivity, self-expression, and a sense of belonging.
LiB was created by Do LaB, a Los Angeles-based event design and production company founded by the same friends who started the private party in 2000.
