ARC, Chicago’s newest summer music festival, upped the hype by announcing several additional artists on Tuesday for its inaugural event.
Channel Tres, DJ Holographic, Layton Giordani, Lee Foss, TONI Varga, and TSHA will join the other 28 previously-announced artists on Labor Day Weekend.
With this new music experience, ARC creators aim to pay homage to Chicago’s house roots and its introduction of house music to the world from its underground music scene in the 1980s.
“The sound of ARC bridges the global electronic music scene by taking modern house music icons and putting them alongside Chicago’s own originators, international techno artists and multi-genre live performances,” per ARC. “It is this diverse programming that will come to illustrate the ARC curation and acts as the connection between the scene’s contemporary innovators, Chicago’s founding members of dance and everything in between.”
Tickets are still available for purchase for the September 4-5 event. Tier 3 GA tickets are currently being offered for $229. After those are all accounted for, Tier 4 will be sold for $249.
