The sixth annual COAST Is Clear Music & Arts Festival has revealed its 2023 lineup. The event is scheduled from November 30 through December 3 in the Old Town neighborhood of Bahama Village in Key West, Florida.
The 2023 artist lineup features Futurebirds, John Craigie, Handmade Moments, Rainbow Girls, Electric Blue Yonder, Scott Ballew, Thom LaFond, Daniel Milewski, and more. COAST teased its fans on their Instagram post, stating, “Who knows, we might even have some special guests, too…”.
COAST Is Clear was created by experimental artist collective Coast Projects in 2017 as a series of “small backyard concerts” that celebrated the end of the Atlantic Hurricane Season. After Hurricane Irma devasted the Florida Keys, the festival served as a local fundraiser for those affected by the Category 5 hurricane.
The event has since grown into a four-day celebration featuring a wide range of music, art, film, sport, and leisure. Venues are located in and around Bahama Village, creating a unique and intimate experience for festivalgoers.
In addition to the festival, once the “coast is clear” of hurricanes, from January through May, Coast Projects also hosts monthly concerts at Fort East Martello, located on the island’s south side.
