The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, aka Jazz Fest, has announced its lineup for the 2023 edition of the New Orleans-based festival.
This year marks the 52nd annual Jazz Fest, which was first held in 1970 and organized to promote, preserve, and encourage the music heritage of Louisiana communities.
This year’s festival will feature Dead & Company, Ed Sheeran, Jill Scott, Jon Batiste, Gary Clark Jr., H.E.R., Leon Bridges, Lizzo, Mumford & Sons, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Santana, The Lumineers, among many others.
Jazz Fest is scheduled for two weekends across the end of April and the beginning of May. Weekend 1 and Weekend 2 will take place April 28-30 and May 4-7, respectively.
The event will be held again at the Fair Grounds Race Course, less than three miles north of the French Quarter.
GA and VIP weekend passes and packages are available for purchase. Early-bird weekend passes for three days and four days are $225 and $275, respectively, while supplies last.
This is an all-ages event.
