On Wednesday, the popular Montréal summer festival OSHEAGA unveiled the main acts for its 2024 experience.
Headliners for the 17th edition of the music and arts festival, which is scheduled for August 2-4, 2024, include a trio of American acts – rock band Green Day, indie singer-songwriter Noah Kahan, and hip-hop/pop singer-songwriter SZA.
Kahan will headline on Friday, Green Day on Saturday, and SZA will send the festival out on Sunday for its final day. The full lineup will be announced at a later date.
Founded in 2006 by Nick Farkas, the inaugural OSHEAGA was headlined by Sonic Youth and Ben Harper and The Innocent Criminals and hosted approximately 25,000 attendees.
Since then, it’s grown from a two-day festival into a three-day experience. In 2023, it welcomed approximately 155,000 attendees through its gates at picturesque Parc Jean-Drapeau, located on St Helen’s Island in the center of the St Lawrence River. OSHEAGA offers festivalgoers a natural setting in the heart of the city.
