Pitchfork Music Festival Announces 2024 Lineup: Alanis Morissette, Black Pumas, Jamie xx to Headline

Pitchfork Music Festival has unveiled its 2024 lineup, which marks the 18th edition of the long-running festival held annually in Chicago, Illinois.

Alanis Morisette, the Black Pumas, and Jamie xx will headline the festival.

Forty-two artists and bands were announced by Pitchfork, scheduled for July 19-21, 2024. Others include 100 gecs, Brittany Howard, Carly Rae Jepsen, Jessie Ware, MUNA, Wednesday, and Yaeji.

The lineup consists of alternative, indie, rock, and hip-hop-based music but also incorporates elements of electronic, experimental, and other genres, reflecting Pitchfork’s eclectic taste and influence in the music industry.

For 2024, Pitchfork has kept general admission ticket prices the same as in 2023 and are currently on sale.

Single-day GA tickets start at $109, while 3-day GA tickets are $219.

This year’s festival will be held in its traditional location at Union Park in the West Loop neighborhood, situated in the city center just to the west of downtown. Its central location and accessibility via public transportation make it convenient for attendees coming from within the city and beyond. The park’s layout includes multiple stages, food vendors, art installations, and merchandise booths, creating a vibrant and immersive experience for festival-goers.
