UPDATE August 20, 2021
Nine Inch Nails had to cancel the rest of their 2021 tour. The festival organizers quickly announced that Slipknot will be taking their place as closers on Sunday night. An updated lineup can be found below which includes a few more additions and subtractions to the Riot Fest 2021 lineup.
Riot Fest organizers are making up for the lost time due to COVID-19. A week after unveiling the 2021 lineup and just on the heels of announcing the second headliner for 2022, festival organizers have unveiled the daily lineup for this year’s festival.
The Smashing Pumpkins will headline Friday, Run The Jewels on Saturday, and Nine Inch Nails will shut the festival down on Sunday.
Joining the Smashing Pumpkins as featured sets on Friday are Coheed and Cambrai, Lupe Fiasco, and NOFX.
Dropkick Murphys, Faith No More, Rancid, and Taking Back Sunday are among other prominent Saturday performers.
And Machine Gun Kelly and the Pixies are performing on Sunday.
Tickets for 2021 are already sold out, so you’ll need to look to the after-market if you want to make your way to this year’s event in Douglas Park. For more on the ticket situation or even purchase 2022 passes, which are already on sale, click here.
