Today, the annual electronic heavyweight Shambhala released its 2023 lineup for the 24th edition of the Salmo, British Columbia festival. The event will occur July 21-24 at its usual Salmo River Ranch home.
In addition to previously-announced headliners GRiZ and Zeds Dead, Shambhala announced more than 150 additional artists for this year’s festival. Notable mentions include Black Tiger Sex Machine, Chase & Status, Excision, Gigantic NGHTMRE, Goldie, Hieroglyphics w/ Del & Souls of Mischief, John Summit, Justin Martin, Liquid Stranger, Maya Jane Coles, Mr. Carmack, Mura Masa (DJ Set), Nicole Moudaber, RL Grime, Rusko, Seth Troxler, Shiba San, S!CK!CK, Skream, Sub Focus, Tchami, Testpilot, Valentino Khan, Wilkinson, and many, many more.
Tickets are currently on sale. General admission weekend passes cost $525 CAD and include tent camping and parking. There are also several lodging options. However, festivalgoers will have to join the waitlist.
Shambhala debuted in 1998 and is now two and a half decades old. For the last 24 years, the festival has provided amazing art, music, and life-changing experiences. This year, there are six music stages, each curated with unique performances. Also featured are yoga workshops, body paint workshops, art installations and galleries, and food and artisan markets. It truly is a choose-your-own-adventure kind of festival.
