Iowa’s Hinterland Music Festival returns August 4-7 with Billy Strings, Glass Animals, Phoebe Bridgers, and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats headlining the 2022 lineup.
The fest will be held at the Avenue of the Saints Amphitheater in Saint Charles, about half an hour from Des Moines.
Thursday features Billy Strings headlining with support from Sierra Ferrell, The Texas Gentleman, Riddy Arman, and Nick Shoulders.
Friday’s headliner is Glass Animals, with Turnstile, The Aces, Briston Maroney, Goth Babe, Petey, and Yoke Lore.
Saturday’s lineup features Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Lake Street Drive, Trampled By Turtles, Jenny Lewis, Durand Jones & The Indications, Mat Kearney, TK & The Holy Know-Nothings, Jesse Daniel, and Miko Mark.
Sunday’s performers are Phoebe Bridgers, Kurt Vile & The Violators, Lucy Dacus, MUNA, Liz Cooper, TrĂ© Burt, The Kernal, and Hayden Pedigo.
4-Day GA passes are $250 and fees, 4-Day VIP passes are $550, and single-day passes are $99. Tent camping add-ons are $60-75. Saints VIP, car camping passes, and more are also available here.
Health and safety: Hinterland does not have any COVID-19 vaccination or testing requirements for entry. They will update protocols as requirements change on a state and local level.
This is an all-ages event, however, VIP and Saints VIP are 21+. Children under 12 are free.
