The first wave of electronic music event Bass Coast Festival has revealed French sensation CloZee as one of the weekend’s headliners. Bass Coast will be hosted July 7-10 in the Nicola Valley in Merritt, British Columbia, Canada.
Also featured in the initial lineup is Ardalan, Justin Martin, The Funk Hunters, Sicaria, The Librarian, Batu, Bianca Oblivion, Christian Löffler, Client_03, Delano Smith, Elkka (DJ set), Galcher Lustwerk, Hamdi, Interplanetary Criminal, Marcellus Pittman, Move D, Nala, Nicola Cruz (DJ set), Special Request, and Yu Su.
Bass Coast is a DIY endeavor run by women with no corporate sponsorship. It features five stages of electronic music subgenres: house, techno, bass, jungle, drum and bass, funk, hip hop, downtempo, dubstep, dancehall, minimal, R&B, and more.
The festival also offers many workshops, such as astronomy, ayurvedic cooking, yoga and meditation, and dance classes.
General admission 4-day tickets are $419 (CAD). Thursday entry, reserved campsites, vehicle passes, glamping, and more are available here.
