CaveFest returns for its second year at The Caverns, and they’ve added a third day this year. Tennessee’s natural venue features a stage and activities inside a massive cave. Above ground, they have more stages and camping among the trees and rolling hills.
“CaveFest was a dream come true last year, an ideal festival featuring favorite bands in the best autumn weather in the perfect place,” Caverns owner Todd Mayo said in a press statement. “Glad this dream is recurring and we’re excited to see the event grow to three days in 2023.”
The festival’s headliners will play above ground, while sets from support acts and jam sessions will take place inside The Caverns.
On October 6-8, CaveFest returns with Sam Bush, Leftover Salmon, The Infamous Stingdusters, Peter Rowan, The Travelin’ McCourys, Jim Lauderdale, Town Mountain, The Lil Smokies, Lindsay Lou, Sam Grisman Project (playing Garcia/Grisman’s Shady Grove Album), Jon Stickley Trio, Larry Keel Experience, and more.
Attendees can also take cave tours, participate in cave yoga classes, check out local craft vendors, and more. CaveFest will host local food trucks onsite and free showers for attendees.
Single-day tickets with camping are $69.50 + fees, and 3-day GA tickets with camping are $149. VIP passes include early entry access on Thursday, one guided cave tour, access to the VIP lounge with complimentary soft drinks and snacks, a VIP open bar and Hors d’oeuvres, a collectible poster, t-shirt, lanyard, festival sticker, and more.
