Iowa’s 80/35 has revealed its lineup for 2022 with Father John Misty and Charli XCX headlining. The non-profit festival returns July 8-9 in downtown Des Moines.
Friday will feature Father John Misty, Japanese Breakfast, Guided by Voices, !!!, Meet Me @ The Altar, Trevor Sensor, Maddie Poppe, Pachyman, Outsider, Outlier (Hannah Marks’ band), Pictoria Vark, Juliano Dock, and Stars Hollow.
Saturday features Charli XCX, Future Islands, Jamila Woods, MonoNeon, BLACKSTARKIDS, Geese, Evann McIntosh, Haiku Hands, Vended, The Envy Corps, Miloe, B.WELL, Diplomats of Solid Sound, Mike Vallely and the Complete Disaster, and more.
Many more bands are still TBA and late-night DJs and local bands are slated to perform.
80/35 is hosted by the Des Moines Music Coaliton, a nonprofit devoted to building a more diverse music-centered community to the area. The fest has been celebrating music and community since 2008 when The Flaming Lips and The Roots headlined.
