American Music Festival returns for its 39th year with Son Volt, Rebirth Brass Band, Alejandro Escovedo, and North Mississippi Allstars headlining. The fest will be held 4th of July weekend, July 1-4, at FitzGerald’s in Berwyn, Illinois.
This year’s AMF will be held by new proprietor Will Duncan and features 60 musical acts with influences from Americana, country, blues, rockabilly, alternative country, folk, and New Orleans zydeco and brass bands.
The 2022 lineup features Michelle Billingsley, S.G. Goodman, Aaron Lee Tasjan, Son Volt, The Waco Brothers, Fox Crossing Stringband, Chicago Farmer & the Fieldnotes, Daddy Long Legs, Tré Burt, Eilen Jewell, Lilly Hiatt, The Claudettes, Michael McDermott, Rebirth Brass Band, Sarah Borges, Kevin Galloway, Lydia Loveless, Beth Bombara, CJ Chenier & the Red Hot Louisiana Band, DeeOhGee, Alejandro Escovedo, Rachel Baiman, Nathan Graham, Terrance Simien & the Zydeco Experience, Robbie Fulks, North Mississippi Allstars, and more.
