UPDATE April 27, 2022
ARC has announced its phase two lineup adding 44 new artists to the bill including but not limited to Acid Pauli, Mark Farina, Öona Dahl, Pan-Pot, Tini Gessler, De la Swing, and DJ Three.
Chicago house and techno fest ARC Music Festival is back in Union Park September 2-4, 2022. ARC is expanding to three days for its sophomore year.
ARC’s debut in 2021 was wildly successful with plenty of glowing reviews. It features three stages with immersive art installations to help set a fun and otherworldly vibe. The fest also plays host to quite a few after-parties once the festival lights are turned off for the night. Coined “ARC After Dark,” these parties can be found at some of Chicago’s best nightclubs.
ARC pays homage to Chicago’s house music history by featuring local artists and producers. It’s also organized by Auris Presents, a Chicago-based production company launched in 2020 by two staples in dance music and the music festival scene, Nick Karounos and John Curley.
Featured on the 2022 ARC lineup are Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, DJ Tennis, Charlotte De Witte, Lane 8, Chris Lake, Anna, Adam Beyer playing b2b with Eric Prydz’s alter-ego Cirez D, Nora En Pure, Gorgon City, Justin Martin, Fatboy Slim, and many others.
