Tennesee and Virginia’s Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion has dropped the initial lineup for its 2023 return. The event will take place August 8-10, 2023, to celebrate the rich history of Bristol and its impact on country music.

Bristol is known as the birthplace of country music thanks to record producer Ralph Peer. In 1927, Peer enlisted the help of 19 performers to record 76 songs on the new Western Electric electronic microphone, now infamously known as “The Bristol Sessions.” Johnny Cash called the event “The most important event in the history of country music.” In 1998, The United States Congress officially designated Bristol, TN/VA, as the “Birthplace of Country Music.”
Weekend wristbands are $120 + fees; a VIP package for two is $1200.
