Single-day music fest Broccoli City has released its hip-hop and rap-centered lineup. The event will take place Saturday, October 2, 2021, in Washington, D.C., at the RPK Festival Grounds.
Broccoli City is the country’s largest festival for young people of color. It features food and drink vendors, a carnival, selfie-friendly art installations, a marketplace of diverse vendors, lounges to chill in, a pop-up DJ tent, and sponsorship opportunities.
Hosted by Rodney Rikai and Lil Bacon Bear, the festival is Black-owned and operated and focuses on people and progress. They aim to foster community and growth by creating experiences that intersect music, art, and social impact. In 2019, the urban fest saw 125,000 attendees.
Their mission is two-part. First is the Entertainment Mission: Creating innovative experiences and spaces celebrating Black culture. Second is the Impact Mission: To provide the opportunities, education, and resources needed to create meaningful Black change.
Headliners for 2021 are Lil Baby, Snoh Aalegra, Moneybagg Yo, Lucky Daye, Rubi Rose, Justine Skye, and many more. The fest also hints at secret special guests.
Single-day general admission and VIPĀ passes are on sale now. General admission is $99, and VIP is $225. Hotel packages are available.
2020 tickets will be honored for the 2021 date.
