The Caverns will host a new jam band festival with the Sam Bush Band, Leftover Salmon, The Infamous Stringdusters, and Yonder Mountain String Band headlining. CaveFest will debut on October 8 and 9 at the natural concert venue in Pelham, Tennessee.
Also featured on the inaugural lineup are Rising Appalachia, Jim Lauderdale, The Lil Smokies, Kitchen Dwellers, Rumpke, Mountain Boys, Larry Keel Experience, Volunteer String Band, Pressing Strings, Sicard Hollow, Kendall Street Company, Taylor Scott Band, and Lindsey Lou as the artist in residence.
The event will offer on-site camping, cave tours (purchased separately), food trucks, local vendors, and more. Main performances will take place at The Caverns Amphitheater with ample space for blankets, chairs, and dancing, all while being surrounded by views of the majestic Cumberland Plateau. The Caverns world-famous underground concert hall will host daily jam sessions, cave yoga, and more.
“Fall is an absolutely gorgeous time to visit Tennessee, and that’s why we picked early October for our first CaveFest,” says The Caverns owner Todd Mayo. “With the addition of our new campground and full capacity outdoor amphitheater combined with our caves, we’re excited to welcome guests for a 2-day festival experience that only The Caverns can deliver.”
