Departure Fest NW 2021 Lineup and Schedule Announced

Reggae, folk, and “medicine music” festival Departure Fest NW has announced its 2021 lineup and schedule. Departure is held at Happy meadows in Ford, a small town in Eastern Washington northwest of Spokane. The festival will be held from August 6-9, 2021.

Keely Crow-Ka and Kalan Wolfe of The Shift founded Departure Fest NW after completing their new album, Departure, and a desire to support other artists emerging from a challenging year.

“We are musicians first, and festival organizers second. We want to give back to the community who has supported us so much through these unprecedented times” says Wolfe. “Local vendors will be here in force, providing everything from delicious food from Hillside Catering to jewelry, pottery, and art. We have all taken an enormous blow from the pandemic, and we want to provide an opportunity for artists and creators to get back to their craft.”

Performing this year are Nattali Rize, The Shift, Jus Wright, Ember Brightheart, Sweet Rebel D., Tim Snider & Wolfgang Timber, Amber Lily, River City Roots, Deads Man’s Gold, and many more TBA.

Departure Fest NW is a conscious festival and promotes sustainability and community. It is also a non-profit event, with a percentage of proceeds going to the Skalitude Honey Bee Sanctuary and Eco-Friendly Event Center.

Attendees will be invited to set up camp in a large field while music and other activities such as yoga will be held under the shade of a pine forest.

Tickets are on sale now and include camping, for just $65 and day passes for $40. Departure Fest NW is an all-ages event and children under 14 are free.
