Earl Scruggs Music Festival 2022 Inaugural Lineup

New bluegrass, Americana, and roots music event Earl Scruggs Music Festival will debut Labor Day weekend, September 2-4, at the Tryon International Equestrian Center in Mill Spring, NC. The festival is a tribute to Earl Eugene Scruggs, the most influential and imitated banjo player in the world.

Friday features Sam Bush, The Earls of Leicester, Jon Stickley Trio, The Barefoot Movement, Chatham Rabbits, Béla Fleck My Bluegrass Heart featuring Billy Contreras, Jacob Jolliff, Justin Moses, Mark Schatz, Bryan Sutton, and more.

Satuday’s lineup includes Town Mountain, Bella White, Rissi Palmer, Leftover Salmon, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Alison Brown, and more.

Sunday’s artists featured are Chatham County Line, Dom Flemons, Becky Buller Band, and a Gospel Brunch with Darin and Brooke Aldridge.

The event will feature two stages, legend workshops about Earl Scruggs and his influence on music and culture, restaurants and food trucks, and a Kids Zone for families with children. The festival’s venue also features a yoga class and cross-fit class on Saturday morning, an open gym on both days, a game room, and courts for pickleball and dodgeball.

3-day General Admission tickets are $200 and fees, Grandstand seating is $250, VIP is $350, VIPX is $550, and Cabanas are $6000 for 8 people. View all ticket options here.

This is an all-ages event. Children 12 and under are free with a ticketed adult.
