Australia’s Esoteric Festival returns for its sixth year on March 10-14, 2023, in Donald, Victoria. This year’s theme is “Wild Wastelands,” an apocalyptic future for those who survive the socioeconomic and climate collapse and are brave enough to build a new oasis despite everything.
This year’s lineup is a mix of international and Australian talent. A few international artists featured are Ashez, CYK, Fiddle Faddle, Gandhabba, GMS, Grouch In Dub, Lab 4, Mad Goblins, Nick The Kid, Yakooza, and others. Aussie talent includes Aztec Medusa, Baba, Cyan, D-Sens, Goosebumpz, Human Music, Lickweed, Lukemath, Lunar, Miss Jade, Miza, Nerve, Outakilta, Safire, Sihaya, Spiritus, Tahl, Timba, Zombie Cats, and many more.
Esoteric is more than just a music festival. Attendees can find chill spaces throughout the venue to take a break, attend a multitude of workshops and talks, and take in psychedelic art and community. The Arts & Decor lineup features Android Jones, Mae Mor, TAS Visuals, Mimesis, Art Collider, Alchemy Decor, WTTJ, and more.
The event’s main stage, Ascension, will be getting an extension to accommodate the festival’s growth. The stage will host the opening ceremony on Saturday and the closing ceremony on Monday, complete with a fireworks display. Other improvements include additional shade, a water treatment plant to provide clean water, and a new Eso Train to help attendees move around the festival grounds.
Esoteric Festival 2023 is sold out and has a limited capacity. View transfer and resale info here.
