The largest international music and arts festival in the US is back in person for the first time in two years April 27-May 1, 2022. Festival International de Louisiane will be hosted in Layfayette, LA.
The festival has been bringing diverse music, food, and art to the area for 36 years. It is a non-profit organization that attracts 300,000+ visitors from around the country and the world. It also features Scène des Jeunes, a kid’s festival with its own musical performances, face painting, arts and crafts, tiny instruments, and more.
The lineup features an impressive collection of national and international talent. It features The Wailers, Cimafunk, DakhaBrakha, Locos Por Juana, Delgres, Ayrad, Bombino, Natur Camara, Vieux Farka Touré, Les Filles de Illighadad, Lakou Mizik, The Hip Abduction, Sinkane, The Reminders, Robert Finley, and many more.
Festival International de Louisiane is free entry, but there are two pass options to enhance your experience. The Lagniappe Pass (also known as the Potty Pass) starts at $65 and grants access to air-conditioned bathrooms. The Bons Temps Pass ($200 and fees) allows for the same air-conditioned bathroom privileges and exclusive views from the side stage or front row. View all pass options here.
