Pennsylvania’s Flood City Music Festival is back to commemorate the 1889 Great Johnstown Flood July 29-30 at Peoples Natural Gas Park in downtown Johnstown. Headliners include The Spin Doctors and Railroad Earth.
Also featured on the lineup is SunSquabi, Brandon “Taz” Niederauer, Ally Venable Band, Karina Rykman, Vannessa Collier, The Fritz, Buffalo Rose, Habatat, Shelf Life String Band, Silver Screen, Kevin Dale, and The Rusty Shackles.
“We try to pick the acts that are like on the way up, the acts that are going to explode, the acts that we won’t be able to afford next year,” Johnstown Area Heritage Association director of marketing and communications Shelley Johansson said. “And, this year, by the way, it’s Karina Rykman, without a question. Her career has gone stratospheric since we made that booking. It is one of those bookings that’s going to make us look like we really know what we’re doing.”
The festival also features local food, drink, and merchant vendors.
2-Day passes are $50 and VIP passes are $75. Friday tickets are $25 and Saturday tickets are $40. View all ticket options here.
This is an all-ages event. Children under 12 are free with a ticketed adult.
