Inkcarceration is back with Korn, Breaking Benjamin, and Disturbed headlining its second sold-out year. The tattoo and heavy metal festival will be held July 15-17, 2022, at the famous Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, OH.
Ohio State Reformatory is best known as the prison used in the 1993 film “Shawshank Redemption.” Fans of Inkcarcertaion call it a trifecta of attractions: world-renowned metal bands, a well-known location, and top-tier tattoo artists. The fest has grown in popularity over the years and is now capped at 75k guests. Its debut in 2018 was only 15k.
Friday’s music lineup features Korn, Papa Roach, Three Days Grace, I Prevail, Daughtry, Sleeping With Sirens, Code Orange, and more.
Saturday features Breaking Benjamin, Evanescence, Falling in Reverse, Black Label Society, Theory Of A Deadman, Avatar, Spriritbox, and more.
Sunday’s headliner is Disturbed with support from Lamb Of God, Seether, Black Veil Brides, Jelly Roll, Nothing More, 10 Years, Sick Puppies, and more.
A lineup of tattoo artists featured at Inkcarceration can be found here. Fans should book directly through the artists to get inked.
The fest also features prison tours, a haunted house, a tattoo competition, music in the campgrounds, food, beer, cocktails, and more.
Inkcarcertaion is sold out, but tickets are available on third-party sites starting at $175 for a 3-day pass. Attendees have the option of camping at the Richland County Fairgrounds, about 4 miles from the prison. Shuttle service is provided. Camping passes are also sold out.
This is an all-ages event.
