Just Like Heaven 2022 Lineup Announced

Just Like Heaven has announced its return for 2022. The self-proclaimed “blog-rock nostalgia festival” aims to bring the throwback vibes with an impressive indie and electronic-heavy lineup. The single-day event will be hosted Saturday, May 21, 2022.

Sister festival Cruel World focuses on 80s-era bands, and Just Like Heaven is an early 2000’s dream. Its inaugural 2019 lineup brought Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Phoenix, Beach House, and MGMT.

Performers for 2022’s festival include Interpol, Modest Mouse, The Shins, M.I.A., Chromeo, Santigold, Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinand, Peaches, !!!, The Hives, Cut Copy, a Kele Okereke DJ set, Wolf Parade performing their EP “Apologies To the Queen Mary” in its entirety, and many more from your early 2000s dreams. See below for a full lineup.

“This festival is pretty much a mirror of my favorite playlist and I’m truly psyched to be a part of it…I think I’d have been butt hurt if we hadn’t been asked to be a part of this,” Modest Mouse’s Isaac Brock said of the 2022 lineup.

2022 will bring Just Like Heaven to a new location as well: it was previously held at Queen Mary Park in Long Beach and now will call Brookside Golf Course, just outside of the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, home.

Ticket presale starts June 24, 2021. Register for early access on Just Like Heaven’s website here.

Health and safety: Proof of full vaccination or a negative covid test taken within 72 hours of the event will be required to enter the venue. More information can be found here.

Just Like Heaven is an all-ages event.
