Due to the tragic and sudden passing of drummer Taylor Hawkins, the Foo Fighters will no longer be headlining New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. The band has canceled all of their future appearances indefinitely.
The most storied music festival in the country is back with a huge lineup. New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival is April 19-May 8, 2022 at the Fair Grounds Race Course over two weekends.
Featured on the 2022 lineup includes The Who, Stevie Nicks, Foo Fighters, Jimmy Buffett & The Coral Reefer Band, Luke Combs, Lionel Richie, The Black Crowes, Willie Nelson, and Erykah Badu. Supporting artists are The Avett Brothers, Norah Jones, Lauren Daigle, Ludacris, Billy Strings, Nelly, Jason Isbel and The 400 Unit, Elvis Costello & The Imposters, Death Cab for Cutie, Ziggy Marley: Songs of Bob Marley, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue… and that’s not even a quarter of all of the artists on this massive lineup.
Jazz Fest has been bringing music, food, crafts, workshops, dancing, impromptu collaborations, and more to New Orleans every year since 1970. 2022 marks its 51st annual celebration after 2021 was canceled. It has been named festival of the year 4 times by Pollstar magazine.
The event is hosted by the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation, a non-profit organization that promotes, preserves, perpetuates, and encourages the music culture and heritage of communities in Louisiana.
3-day weekend passes are $210 and 4-day weekend passes are $260 at Early Bird prices. Locals can buy $50 Thursday, May 5 passes at the gates. There are three tiers of VIP experiences available. View all ticket options here.
