This past December, Mempho Presents, the outfit behind Mempho Music Festival, announced its next venture, RiverBeat Music Festival. On Wednesday, we learned what the inaugural experience will look like.
The 2024 RiverBeat Music Festival lineup will feature nearly 50 performers, including headliners Jelly Roll, ODESZA, and the Fugees. Other artists and bands include Big Boi, Black Pumas, Jessie Murph, Killer Mike, Matt and Kim, Morgan Wade, Mt. Joy, The Band CAMINO, Tobe Nwigwe, and Yung Gravy.
The festival will be held this spring, May 3-5, 2024.
Tom Lee Park, a picturesque spot on the banks of the Mississippi River in the heart of downtown Memphis, will be the perfect backdrop for this inaugural music experience.
According to festival organizers, “RiverBeat will bring the community together to celebrate an exciting new chapter in the rich musical history of Memphis – an immersive music experience set in the City’s newly designed riverfront park.”
“The aim is to expand and honor the storied legacy of Memphis music by introducing a feature destination event with broad appeal, and an elevated fan experience featuring world-class talent.”
Three-day tickets are on sale, starting at $249 for general admission. Single-day tickets will be released later. To view options and purchase, visit riverbeat.frontgatetickets.com.
RiverBeat Music Festival is an all-ages event.
