American roots music festival Roots N Blues returns October 7-9 with Wilco, Jon Batiste, Bleachers, Old Crow Medicine Show, Chaka Khan, and Tanya Tucker headlining. The lineup also features plenty of local talent from the Columbia, MO, area and will be hosted at Stephens Lake Park.
Also featured on the lineup is Hippo Campus, Larkin Poe, Houndmouth, Jaime Wyatt, Tank and The Bangas, The Steeldrivers, The Kay Brothers, Cautious Clay, Brittney Spencer, Jackie Venson, Liz Cooper, The Dip, and others.
The 2022 Roots N Blues Festival is the only American festival owned by women. The owners and operators strive to give back to their community by employing independently-owned local businesses, providing full-time work, and 100% of healthcare paid for their employees. They also partnered with the city of Columbia to offer free passes to families making an income below the poverty line (applications ended Sept. 16).
A memorial run will take place on October 8 for the founder of Roots N Blues, Betsy Farris. Runners will get a 20% discount on event passes, a t-shirt, a medal, and more.
3-day passes are $180.96 and single-day passes are $82-100 depending on the day. View all ticket options here.
This is an all-ages event. Children under 14 are free.
