Philly’s Roots Picnic is back June 4-5, 2022, at The Mann At Fairmount Park. The festival is hosted by the hip hop group The Roots.
Headliners include Mary J. Blige performing with The Roots, Summer Walker, Wizkid, Jazmine Sullivan, and Kamasi Washington. Also featured on the 2022 lineup are two collaborative sets featuring multiple artists. The J Period Live Mixtape features Black Thought, Rick Ross, and Benny The Butcher. And the Soulquarians Jam Session features Keyshia Cole, SWV, and Musiq Soulchild.
The rest of the lineup features Masego, Kirk Franklin, Chief Keef, G Herbo, Tierra Whack, Freddie Gibbs, Mickey Guyton, Yebba, Robert Glasper ft. Bilal, DJ Jazzy Jeff & Rakim, Babyface Ray, Muni Long, and many more.
Roots Picnic will also feature a live podcast stage curated by Wallo267 and Gillie Da King. Podcasters include Million Dollaz Worth Of Game, New Roty & Mal, Questlove Supreme, Earn Your Leisure, Whoreible Decisions, and more.
