California’s Same Same But Different is back with headliners GRiZ, Chromeo, Tipper, Vulfpeck, and The Glitch Mob. The multi-genre music, art, and camping festival is hosted at Moreno Beach within Lake Perris State Park on September 8-11.
Thursday’s pre-party will feature music from L.A.-based collective Genius Loci.
Friday’s headliners are GRiZ and Chromeo with support from Washed Out, Neil Francis, Moon Boots, Goldfish, Anomalie, Justin Jay, Party Pupils, The Sponges, Ahee, Polyrhythmics, and more.
Saturday features Tipper with a Funktion-One sound system, Emancipator, Poolside, The Brothers Macklovitch (A-Trak and Dave-1), Beats Antique, The Polish Ambassador, The Funk Hunters, Manic Focus, Vincent Antone, and more.
Sunday will have Vulfpeck and The Glitch Mob headlining with support from Lettuce, The California Honeydrops, The Floozies, Maddy O’Neal, Ravenscoon, The Brothers Comatose, and more.
2022 will be the first year SSBD will have a cannabis lounge, the CannaBass Oasis, that will transform into a late-night bass music stage. Attendees can also win a ticket to next year’s event by bringing a unique floaty to showcase in Floatopia.
4-day GA passes are $345 and fees and include GA camping. VIP is $580. Single-day passes are $155 for GA and $215 for VIP. Car camping passes, parking passes, and more are available here.
This is an all-ages event. Children under 6 are free.
