Southern Skies Music Festival 2022 Lineup Announced

Knoxville’s newest rock festival has revealed its lineup. Southern Skies Music Festival premieres on May 14, 2022, at the World’s Fair Park.

Blues Traveler will headline with support from The Dirty Guv’nahs, Maggie Rose, The New Respects, Electric Darling, and TN Power & Light.

Southern Skies is hosted by Dogwood Music and is curated by The Dirty Guv’nahs, a rock and roll group based out of Knoxville. They have been planning this festival since 2019 but were forced to push back the premiere due to the pandemic.

“We’ve been dreaming up a festival event in our hometown of Knoxville for nearly a decade,” said The Dirty Guv’nahs frontman James Trimble. “This is the city that gave us a shot and supported our rock and roll dreams. Fifteen years later, we’re still at it. We’re still writing new songs and dreaming about how to bring people together for good through music.”

“It is an absolute honor to work with Dogwood Arts as we officially launch Southern Skies Music Festival as an event that we intend to grow together for many years to come. We love their mission, creativity, and our shared authentic love for Knoxville. Can’t wait to see where this goes!”

The fest will feature two stages, food trucks, craft cocktails and beer, wine, a maker market, and more.

Single-day tickets are on sale at the tier 2 price of $45 and VIP tickets are $150. View all ticket options here.

Health and safety: Southern Skies has not announced any COVID-19 policies yet.

The festival is an all-ages event. Children under 10 are free.
