Chicago neighborhood festival Square Roots in is back July 8-10. The Lincoln Square fest offers a diverse lineup that benefits the local Chamber of Commerce and the Old Town School Of Folk Music.
The fest has celebrated music and community in a relaxed atmosphere since 1998. It will feature four stages, several breweries, and local restaurants and businesses.
Friday’s lineup features Bob Mould and Ésso headlining with support from Deep Sea Diver, Ten Cent Men, The Reminders, and RCA Ensemble.
Guided by Voices, Family of Geniuses, and !!! will headline Saturday, with support from Dehd, Cactus Blossoms, Gerald McClendon, Los Gallos, Jarochicanos, Aeon Station, Tabacco City, Win Noll & The Rockin Souls, and The Electric Electric Ensemble, and more.
The Oh’My’s, John Prime, and Hayes Carll headline Sunday with support from Lilly Hyatt, The Altons, Wild Pink, Lawrence Peter Outfit, Bnny, and more.
There is a suggested donation of $10 for adults and $5 for children.
This is an all-ages event.
