May 12-15, 2022 will be the premiere of The All Day I Dream Festival, a house and techno music festival that features camping onsite. The fest will be held at Woodward Park, an 82-acre space with a lake, trees, and open space in Oakdale, CA.
Little Dragon and RY X will headline. Also featured are Poolside, Lee Burridge, Matthew Dekay, Jan Blomqvist, Öona Dahl, Cubicolor, Guy Gerber, Sébastien Léger, Yokoo, and more.
The fest will also feature yoga workshops, other health and wellness activities, food vendors, beverage bars, a clothing vendor village, art cars, art installations, and more.
DJ and producer Lee Burridge began All Day I Dream, an open-air techno and house music event, in Brooklyn in 2011. The event has transformed into a world tour and now, a music festival. Burridge wanted to make a change in an industry that he felt was dominated by men. All Day I Dream utilizes feminine energy in its art and decor.
“I always wanted the event to feel welcoming to everyone,” Burridge says. “Music is a universal language and it felt strange to me when crowds become a less diverse demographic slowly over time. I know this is a generalization, but it felt more and more that it was men going to see men play at parties run by men.”
