Wakaan Music Festival is back on September 28-October 1 after a 2-year pandemic hiatus. Experimental bass producer Liquid Stranger hosts the festival under his label’s namesake and will be bringing some friends to Mulberry Mountain in the Ozarks of Arkansas. 2019 was the premiere of Wakaan, and bass music fans have been eagerly awaiting their return to the mountain.
Liquid Stranger will play two sets and also feature LSDREAM, Rusko, CloZee, Wreckno, A Hundred Drums, Emancipator, Of The Trees, Buku, STS9, Claude VonStroke’s alter-ego, Barclay Crenshaw, Opiuo, Inzo, Jantsen, Kumarion b2b Reaper, Manic Focus, Mize, Mersiv, Tripp St., Supertask, and many others.
The pre-party is hosted Wednesday and will feature sets by Liquid Stranger b2b LSDREAM, Minnesota, Notixx, Ravenscoon, Shlump, and Tape B.
Stage takeovers include the labels Deep Dark and Dangerous, GRL GANG, Morflo Records, and Street Ritual.
